We are created to glorify God, and we are being transformed day by day by the Holy Spirit to reflect the Father's image through relationship with Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:18). We undergo these changes through deep discipleship in community with one another. I offer consulting and leadership development services to churches and parachurch ministries, including strategic planning, curriculum development and implementation, and member mobilization - particularly in the areas of World Christianity/Missions, Christian Education, and Discipleship.
What will it take to provide excellence for every child every day? I offer educational consulting and leadership development services to educators at all levels - from the classroom to the statehouse, equipping them to serve students with excellence. Every child deserves to be surrounded by a team of excellent educators every year - regardless of his or her race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability, ability, language, economic condition, or zip code. And every educator deserves to be part of a team of excellent teachers, administrators, counselors, coaches, leaders, and support personnel throughout his or her career.
Each of us is created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26). We are made to learn and grow, and if we are followers of Jesus, to become more like Him. Life milestones, transitions, and even personal growth goals can be hard to handle alone. I offer one-on-one and small group mentorship to navigate these challenges in life.
Moreover, our bodies are the temple of God, created perfectly by Him to do good works He prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10). I offer educational classes and information about using natural sources, including Young Living Essential Oils, to support physical, spiritual, and emotional health and wellbeing as we live our best lives.
I am a lifetime Oklahoman, with experience in both rural and urban communities. Every member of my family is an educator - Mom, Dad, and Sister. And we are all followers of Jesus Christ.
I received my bachelor's degree in mathematics education and went on to receive my master's degree and educational doctorate in educational leadership and administration.
I am the Director of Connections & Program Development for Bridgeway Church, where I establish opportunities for our members and attendees to connect with one another and the ministries I provide. I specialize in adult education and discipleship, while supporting the organizational structure through strategic planning and evaluation of program effectiveness.
I spent 23 years as a public educator, focusing on changing the lives of children through adult learning, systems improvement, and policy implementation. I have served students in a variety of roles, including as a classroom teacher, statewide leader of mathematics, thought leader in high school redesign, technical assistance provider, regional consultant, Oklahoma's Assistant State Superintendent of Educator Effectiveness, and the Director of the Arkansas Leadership Academy.
I am also a Young Living Independent Consultant, Instructor for Perspectives, Regional Representative for Thrive Ministries, President of Anchor Ministries, board member, author, speaker, and consultant to churches and parachurch ministries on strategic planning, systems improvement, and establishing structures for God's people to understand, love, and serve Him more abundantly.
Before I knew Jesus, I thought I had to prove myself by acting right, following all of the rules, and learning everything I was presented. When I met Jesus, accepted His forgiveness, and let Him take control of my life, I realized I could never be good enough on my own. But Jesus, who was perfect, gave me His righteousness when He took on my guilt. I realize there is nothing I can do to make Him love me more - and there's nothing I can do to make HIm love me less! With Jesus in my life, my desire is to glorify Him by sharing how He has changed me, set me free from the bondage of perfectionism, and gifted me for service of His creation.
After recognizing my true identify as a daughter of the King of Kings, I have fallen more deeply in love with Him. Through battling breast cancer, I gained a new understanding of Jesus's worthiness. He is truly worthy of my all.
My greatest desire is to see "the earth filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord" (Habakkuk 2:14). Through the power of the Holy Spirit, I live each day in awe of my Creator and surprised by how He chooses to use me for His Kingdom purposes!
